Experience

Helen Whitehead is an award-winning learning consultant, writer and researcher. She has worked with schools, colleges and universities including Nottingham Trent University, University of Leicester, Leeds Metropolitan University, and the National College for School Leadership, as well as creative industries, arts & literature, and business and media training companies to develop learning and collaborative opportunities using social technologies. She has facilitated online communities for over 15 years, and first went online in the early 1980s. She is an internationally known expert and researcher on communities of practice and of learning. She has developed  created and taught courses online and offline in online facilitation, content development and writing for digital media.
