Bio

I established Hallam Communications in 1999 as an Internet marketing agency providing training and consultancy to small businesses in the UK and more widely across Europe.

I plan, deploy and manage Internet marketing activities in a cost effective and measurable fashion.

You’ll find me registered as a Google AdWords Professional, a member of the Chartered Institute of Information Professionals, and an EMDA Quality Assured Service Provider.

In addition to consultancy, I deliver a regular programme of Internet marketing training courses and I’m sure if you asked nicely I’d offer discounts to attendees of Web 2.0 Surgery.

I’m a regular speaker at international Internet marketing conferences, including Search Engine Strategies, Internet World, Search Marketing Expo, as well as being an expert advisor for the eBusiness Club.

Prior to setting up Hallam Communications, I was a Senior Lecturer in Computing at Nottingham Trent University, and held strategic Internet marketing roles at BT and Capital One.

And finally, I publish a blog called “Internet Marketing Made Easy”, and I welcome you to subscribe either via my email newsletter or using the RSS feed.

Experience

1993 was a good year for me.

I ran my first Internet workshop in London in 1993, so that means I’ve been doing the Internet thing for 112 dog years.

I wrote my first guide to Internet Resources in that year, and it was a fully comprehensive 8 pages long.

My son George was born in that year, and he is a true Digital Native.
